- With Internet
Explorer open click Tools > Internet Options from
the main menu at the top of your window.
- Now you are in
the Internet Options dialog box. Select the Security
tab at the top of the dialog box.
- Look for and
select the Custom Level button toward the bottom
of the dialog box. The Security Settings dialog box will open.
- Scroll down to
find the category named Scripting. You will find
three sub-categories under Scripting named Active
Scripting, Allow paste options via script, and Scripting
of Java applets.
- You want to select
Enable under each of the three sub-categories.
- Then click OK
twice to close out of the Internet Options dialog
box and Click Here to verify
that you have successfully turned on JavaScript.

- With Internet
Explorer open click View > Internet Options from
the main menu at the top of your window.
- Now you are in
the Internet Options dialog box. Select Security.

that you have successfully turned on JavaScript.

- With Netscape
open click Edit > Options from the main menu
at the top of your window.
- Select Network
Preferences.
- Select Languages.
- Select both Enable
Java and Enable JavaScript.
- Click
OK to close out of the Network Preferences
dialog box and Click Here
to verify that you have successfully turned on JavaScript.

click My AOL from the main menu near the top of your
window.
- Select Preferences.
- Select WWW.
- Select the Security
tab.
- Select Custom.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll down to
locate Scripting.
- Select Enable
for Active Scripting.
- Click
OK to close out of the Preferences dialog
box and Click Here to verify
that you have successfully turned on JavaScript.

- With AOL open
click My AOL from the main menu near the top of your
window.
- Select Preferences.
- Select WWW.

- Be sure the checkbox
next to Use Compressed Graphics IS NOT
checked. (uncheck it if it is checked)
- Click OK
then you will need to restart your computer. (Trust us, it is worth
the effort!)
